Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle

This Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle combines the elegance of a layered dessert with the irresistible flavors of creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries. A make-ahead delight, it’s guaranteed to captivate any crowd with its visually stunning presentation and delectable taste.


  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 loaf (10-3/4 ounces) frozen pound cake, thawed and cubed
  • 3 ounces semisweet chocolate, grated
  • Optional: Chocolate curls and extra strawberries for garnish


  1. Prepare Strawberries: In a bowl, mix strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside.
  2. Cheesecake Mixture: Beat together cream cheese, orange juice, and the remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped cream.
  3. Layer Cake: Drain strawberries, reserving the juice. Toss cake cubes in this juice. In a 4-qt. trifle dish, layer half the cake cubes, followed by a third of the cheesecake mixture, half the strawberries, and half the grated chocolate. Repeat layers.
  4. Garnish: Finish with the last of the cheesecake mixture. Add chocolate curls and extra strawberries if using.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
