Little Johnny’s math grade was so poor that his teacher called home. When Johnny arrived, his father confronted him, asking sternly, “Why did you fail your math test?”

Johnny shrugged, replying, “My teacher isn’t very good.”

Curious, his father asked for more explanation. Johnny explained, “On Monday, my teacher said 3+5 equals 8. On Tuesday, it was 4+4 equals 8. Then, on Wednesday, she said 6+2 equals 8.”

His father, now confused, asked, “So what does that have to do with you failing?”

Johnny sighed and said, “If my teacher doesn’t even know what equals eight, how am I supposed to know the right answer?”

His father was left speechless.
